"Few chess boards in America have the history of the Drueke chess boards. These boards are neither veneers nor inlays - they are actual solid blocks of wood made from American Walnut and Maple. Additionally, they can be recognized by the signature grooved edging around the playing surface...These boards are lovingly hand-crafted in Michigan...Sadly, Drueke has stopped making these chess boards."
A Drueke board was used in the famous Kasparov - Deep Blue chess match.
